Kevin Lehto started working for his father when he was 14, installing both residential and commercial floors, eventually working his way up to foreman and master technician with a large architectural flooring outfit. In those 25 years of experience he acquired many trade skills from basic carpentry to fine finish work. He also spent 10 years living on a farm where he was responsible for the overall property maintenance, learning skills from installing windows and doors, to metal roofing, building stairs, as well as landscaping. In short, Kevin is a jack of all trades, but master of one – that being flooring. The proceeds from Cheri’s music and art services go to support Beacon Farm Ministries.
Cheri Christenson started playing piano at a very young age, she was 5 years old when she had her first lesson and even though her mom thought her hands were too small to play piano, it didn’t take her long to prove her wrong. Cheri was classically trained through college and has been part of many musical groups that have helped her expand and deepen her understanding of the beautiful talents God has given her.
Cheri’s art started much later in life. She had a college roommate that got her interested in painting, and dabbled in oil for many years as a hobby. Cheri ended up falling in love with watercolor after much personal patience and a little help from a local artist. Most of her work starts as watercolor, but then morphs into either mixed media or digital art. Cheri takes a lot of inspiration from Kandinsky using music to fuel her art, melding her world of music with her world of art. Many people say that you can “hear” Cheri’s art, creating a symphony for the eyes.
Cheri had her own thriving teaching business on the seacoast from 2012-2017. She offers fun, exciting, and educational lessons to all age groups. God has given her a great joy for music and art and a wonderful passion to teach it to others. She looks forward to bringing that joy into your life!
“Cheri has been teaching our children piano lessons for five years. She is enthusiastic, encouraging, patient, and fun! Our children enjoy their lessons and have been learning and improving each week. I give her my highest recommendation.” – Amy Hyett
“Cheri brings new life to every performance with faithful instruction and an openness to individual self-expression. Her technical and intuitive skills bring the highest quality to any music or artistic venue.” – Rosemary Mijal, Musical Theater Director, Teacher, Performer
“Cheri has many God given talents that run through her fingers! She’s an avid gardener, pianist, singer, and musician. She creates incredible art and invites color into her world. Her artistic vision is endless, it’s in her soul!” – Brenda Elwell-Taylor, owner Brenda’s Bloomers, Inc.
